A relatively new race held at the Bahrain International circuit and is of historic importance as it was the first Grand Prix to be held in the Middle East.
Due to cultural differences the glamour side is slightly more subdued at this venue but that said, the Formula One circus acts like a babe magnet when it rolls into town.

Looks a little different to the usual track marshalls !
The Sakhir track took only a couple of years to build and the first GP was won in 2004 by Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher. Because the venue was so impressive it drew other major motor sport events away from other tracks and now hosts the likes of V8 Supercars as well.
