I just found his father-in-law, Thomas Capiter, who is my 7th great-grandfather. He was one of the Grimsby area's earliest Methodist preacher/advocate. The founder of Methodism, John Wesley, wrote letters to him and he helped make a room for people to listen to Methodist preachings. They wifes mum was related to Rosemary Clooney through marriage somewhere along the line, and then george is her nephew, but alas her feelings for him are all but illegal and she doesnt want to see him locked up for a bit of inbreeding!!!!
