Abebooks Ordering Problems
The misery seems to continue over at abebooks with more strange technical problems
I have not bought on there myself for years but decided I wanted a certain book, there was one copy in the UK. I did not want to stiff the seller with abe’s gouging card fees plus the commission so I emailed the seller.
Tried twice with no reply, so thought sod it !
Last week I tried again, still no reply so I just ordered through the system.
Note: I joined, as a seller, abebooks in 1998 and received an email from them that very morning
Went through all the ordering fiasco and finally got to submit the order - this is what I got back
Sorry but we are unable to process your order as abebooks does not recognise your email address !
Is it any wonder dealers who once enjoyed good sales are unable to sell anything ?
Abebooks seem to be dying a death by a 1000 cuts (many self-inflicted) - a great shame
