A Quick Round Up
Here is a quick general round up of bits and pieces, a tidy up and small follow ons from other posts etc
Tuesday saw Goldeneye lunching in true style, fabulous food, company (6 of us) and surroundings - indeed the lair of WoE !
This is not my normal venue on a Tuesday indeed a first time visit
I cannot go into details, of course, but I can confirm (and this is really true) I have seen the broomstick ! and what a great place it is too.
I feasted on huge tiger prawns, fresh from France, garlic snails, then home made venison pie, salad and onion relish followed by baked apples and creme fresh. All absolutely outstanding and very enjoyable.
As you can see I continue to suffer as I struggle through life

Everyone wants to look like Daniel Craig it seems
I may restart the internet dating fiasco again. I’ll rebuild my profile page, get some pictures on there and wait for the entertainment to start, naturally if I bother all details will be reported here.
The festive spirit is almost boiling over here at La Casa Goldeneye, well the tree’s up anyway.
All geared up for the rewriting of the will on Christmas day, could be quite good this year.
I need to be mindful of what I put on this site, it seems very strange how it makes you feel doing something like this. As I typed the above about my will I actually considered posting my entire Last Will and Testament on this site !!!!!!!!!
I think I may need some help !
Regards to all

Hello All
I am back again with a couple of things I just have to share with others.
Today while in conversation with my neighbours I was told that someone they know
was today being evicted from her house ( note 5 days from Christmas) for reasons beyond her control.
It appears the husband had stopped paying the mortgage sometime ago and squandered the money elsewhere,
needless to say he left today on his own, leaving behind a now single mother and two children
with No money and No home ! .. what a ……….*******.
I know rules are rules and the mortgage should have been paid, but at the end of the day it is Christmas
to have left this family a few more days would have been no big deal to whoever dealt with the eviction surely ?

re the poor woman and her house, incredible, you seem to be moving in some Dickensian circles, I thought much of what you mentioned ended in the 1800s
My xmas supplies are all in, though my Christmas dinner has suffered a set back. I’m having Tikha Masala but I notice the date runs out on the 23rd !
As to the internet dating, I hope, and expect, there to be some entertainment. I was going to rehash my page today and make a proper job of it, put a pic back on etc but something held me back - commonsense I think.
I may well do it tomorrow.
The will is still circulating in my mind, some last minute changes this week alone !
I shall do the final draft of it on parchment using a Mont Blanc fountain pen, as always
Regards
Rod

Two ideas just struck me, as they are wont to do, reading my last comment.
What I could do on Christmas day is:
1: Rewrite my will
2: Have an out of date chicken curry for my xmas dinner
3: Open my one present, which arrived by post today
4: Sort my internet dating page out
I just love this, really appeals to my sense of humour, cannot wait to tell people who ask me what I did at Xmas - I can see their faces now !
You beauty ! Sounds like a plan

R - You may want to do the rewrite prior to the consumption of the Curry !
5 . Lock the Door ! …….

Rod,
re will-what do you mean changes? I’d better still be number one-never mind that witches bird filling you up with foie gras and truffles-she’s only after the loot-same as me but at least I admit it!
As for me on Christmas day I plan to eat a goose with all the trimmings-as I shall be the only one sat at the table there will be more room for food and wine!

fear not dear brother, your share remains undiminished, in fact well up on last year and …… up a bit since this was last discussed, not a huge amount but better than nothing.
The WoE are the only women I know who have no interest in any money I may, or may not, have. Also, slandering them could affect your cut !!!!!!!!!!
I have a Jamie Oliver recipe for cooking goose, let m eknow if you want me to send it over?
Regards

The Witches can confirm that your brother’s stash of ducats would barely cover the ever increasing cost of our anti wrinkle cream. However, he who eats goose for one seems a far better bet ……. we shall swoop into your kitchen and riffle through your drawers in the hope we may find your hidden Nigella measuring cups ….. may they overflow with Christmas cheer!
