What are the two big round buildings I can see from Cleethorpes beach ?
A sensible question for any visitor both to Grimsby, Cleethorpes and indeed the other side of the water.
They are the Humber Forts Haile Sand Fort and Bull Sand Fort

The Freshney Parkway is a designated Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and the cover all name for the land known as Town’s Holt and the Freshney Bog.
Here’s a look at the history, present day, wildlife in fact everything related to the area with maps and pictures.

Brit Bashing seems to be the latest craze in the Good Ole US of A
King Yank Obama is making a meal out of the fact that the multi-national company BP was once known as British Petroleum therefore this oil leak is our fault.
Why is David Cameron not standing up for the country ?
The first thing I’d point out to the president is it wasn’t actually BP’s fault - the leak was caused by an American company Transocean !

St. Leonard’s Nunnery once sat at Nun’s Corner in Grimsby, it was founded in the 12 century.
It was a small and poor Benedictine house of Austin Nuns with an interesting history . . .
