After finding a raised tomb with a skull carved in it my curiosity was roused and I decided to search for more in Lincolnshire.
The task proved more difficult than I thought.
Thanks to a tip off from Chris Keyworth I did find this one frm the early 1700s !

Visiting the Beach at Cleethorpes
You know how it is, you get up at 5.30am on a Sunday morning and think to yourself, it’s dark, cold and windy but I know I’ll pop off to the beach at Meggies when day breaks to look at the fossilized trees.

The Battle of Riby Gap
We’ve all heard of the English Civil War with the Cavaliers and Roundheads but how much do you know of Civil War battles fought in Lincolnshire - if you’re like me then previously very little but there were some very important battles fought by Royalist and Parliamentary forces here in Lincs.
