I thought I would share this fabulous letter with you.
It originated from The Caterer and Refreshment Contractors Gazette and was published 15 August 1884.
Deliciously indicative of the time and, to me at least, extremely funny.

Being in the midst of another classic Goldeneye idea, I’ve not defrosted the fridge for months and decided to do it on the coldest day with snow on the ground, I though I wish I’d done this ages ago.
So, whilst holding an electric heater with wet hands and standing in a pool of water my mind wandered off to things I wish I had done.

The price of the average house in the UK has for the first time broken the £100,000 barrier !
