Google is in something of a mess following its ‘big daddy’ update.
If you have a website you may well find a large number of your pages are missing from the index.
Crawling and indexing is also greatly reduced. The frequency and crawl depth appears to be directly related to you page rank.
You can now go up to a month without googlebot crawling your site, then it may only go to second level depth. If your site is strong and well established things are not so bad.
That said they are what they were before! Then what is ?
Newer sites are really suffering. Anyone out there who, mistakenly, has a PHP site needs to check the number of pages indexed. I think you may well find you are in ’supplemental hell’
To searchers out there, missing pages means missing results. If you cannot find what you want you may well want to try MSN or Yahoo.
This is hugely important for anyone with a site, sorry if it is a bore for those without sites.

I had intended to do a photo-documentary of a visit to the seaside. The idea was to sarcastically illustrate the highs and lows of Cleethorpes, well largely lows I suspect.
I dusted off a digital camera I wisely invested £250 in a while ago, used it to take some pix for ebay a couple of times then abandoned it. Put batteries on charge etc - I was truly committed.
Whilst looking for a case to put the pocket brownie in I suffered an all out attack of ennui.
The whole project was abandoned due to a complete lack of interest.
I settled for wandering around the aforementioned resort, ate a sausage bun, which tasted nice but was no doubt highly toxic and crawling with bowel wrenching microbes.
I am lucky in having the constitution of a yak, such repast would fell a lesser man.
Okay saddle up here we go again with another choice offering from

Running a few tools to collate information on backlink changes for the week, showed only a few new links to various sites, none particularly outstanding.
One thing did stick out though, the stats showed one lost link!
Back traced it and it seems I’ve lost a myspace friend
Thankfully the lovely Katie is still my friend and jammin n spammin like a ‘good un’
Still who needs friends, they tend to be a drain anyway
